Comin' Alive 04:32
I’m comin’ alive, comin’ online, comin’ in and outside. I see the divine, I saw it last night, saw it behind my eyes. Walls were falling two by two. Bricks were passing underneath my shoes. Then a voice so soft and subtle said, “build a road from rubble.” And I’m lookin’ ahead, scratchin’ my head, feeling awfully fine. I see no divide, I see the divine, I’d see it even if I were blind. The rain it falls with wet applause, the audience appreciates their cause. Then a voice so soft and subtle said, “leap into the puddle.” Why am I keeping time? Who knew it’s not on the line? It’s a whirlpool, a Taurus turbine, A florist of light, the circle that winds. And I’m comin’ alive, comin’ online, comin’ in and outside. I see the divine, I saw it this mornin’, the moment I opened my eyes. I’m breathin’ the air, lookin’ at the sky, mother. You’re all around me, shine mother. I’m readin’ the signs, turnin’ up my mind, mother. I hear your voice inside, mother. You’re the flow inside a vine, and I’m a grape that translates you to wine. Oh, your voice is soft and subtle. You say, “life’s an endless puzzle, And if you face some trouble, don’t let your soul get muddled.”

Headin' West 02:41
Packin’ up my bags headin’ west, headin’ west, on the road again, Another hundred miles ‘till I’m home. Roll my cigarette light it up, light it up, I’m on my own again, Another night and day for me to roam. And I know by now, that everything will pass, And I’ll show you how, to make the moment last. I don’t wanna know, what’s waiting ‘round the bend, Guess I’ll have to wait until the end. Drivin’ to the sea, headin’ west, headin’ west, and feeling cold again. I never seem to catch that setting sun. The wind is at my back, set me free, set me free, and I’ll be yours again. Never have to be without someone. And I know by now, that everything will pass, I’ll show you how, to make the moment last. I don’t wanna know, what’s waiting ‘round the bend, Guess I’ll have to wait until the end. Occupy my time, and my mind, I’m heading west ‘until I am whole again. Anywhere but here and now will do. Singing little songs, can you hear? Can you hear? I’m in control again. Heading west ‘til I’m holding you. And I know by now, that everything will pass, I’ll show you how, to make the moment last. I don’t wanna know, what’s waiting ‘round the bend, Guess I’ll have to wait until the end.

She told me "don’t hold it in," in a dream I had one mornin’. She was dressed in white and glowin’, an angel in the snow. I felt my heart lowerin’, sinking like a stone. She whispered, “don’t go to low, I am one to know.” Then like an anchor in the harbor, or a raindrop from a cloud, My tears fell harder, as she said aloud, "Let it out to open room within. Better now than later, when its too late." I walked with her in silence, she uttered not a word. What wonderful guidance, nothing to be heard. She rowed off in a white canoe, then turned around to wave. The message in her gesture, said "honey don’t behave." Like an anchor in the harbor, or a raindrop from a cloud, If your tears fall harder, just remember how, To let it out to open room within. Better now than later, when it’s too late.

Time 03:35
Time moves slow when you’re looking back on your memories and Time stands still when you realize, that you never will forget… That time when we first met, holding hands and holding our breath ‘til we could Be alone together. We both knew it couldn’t last forever. But we still Loved the time we got, even though it wasn’t a lot, ‘cause we don’t Need that much. We never did and we never will. And it’s Hard while you’re away, on my own all night, and days stretch in to Weeks, while hours fade, and all we can do is wait, because, Time moves slow when you’re looking back on your memories and Time stands still when you realize, that you never will forget… Time that we moved in, to the house we’re living in when we knew This would last, and we didn’t care about the past. And we could Lay awake for hours, own the night like it was ours and we don’t Have to sleep, we can dream while we’re alone. And you’re at School and I’m out earning money, all I want is you sweet honey. And I Know it won’t be long, but I’ve known that all along and still, Time moves slow when you’re looking back on your memories and Time stands still when you realize, that you never will forget… Remember that time when I fucked up, lost my cool and wouldn’t shut my mouth or Quiet down? It doesn’t matter no one’s wrong. You just Looked me in the eye, and I knew right then that I was right where I should be - In your heart and in your hands, now Years fly by and you’re not tired of me yet. Baby, I can’t lie, I never will forget the way you hold me lovely girl. Time moves slow when you’re looking back on your memories and Time stands still when you realize, that you never will forget, that Time moves slow when you’re looking back on your memories and Time stands still when you realize, that you never will forget…

I went out walkin’ tip toed and talkin’ in whispers, To you hanging white all aglow in the night looking true. I left my room to stare up at you tonight. I went out walkin’ tip toed and talkin’ to you. I felt alone when the day had drawn on like the winter, And night fell as hard as a pitcher in a bar lost from grip. And although you have no answer to reply, I would ask that you remain in the night for my sake. 'Cause I am out walkin’ tip toed and talkin’ to you. I walked about streets gazing up underneath your light No longer alone, I feel quite at home with you And here we will stay until she comes and sweeps me away Right off of my feet Tonight I’m out walkin’ tip toed and talkin’

Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’ if I decide to love you more. Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’, my love for you is hotter than a peppercorn. Oh dear please, I’m shaking at the knees, Waiting for the next time you knock at my door. Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’ I cannot help but love you more. Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’ I’m sittin’ here singin’ on my porch. Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’, waitin’ here like a boat stuck in the port. If I had the means like a whistle through the trees, I’d travel over the mountains and across the sea. Oh my darlin’, don’t mind darlin’, I just can’t help but love you more. Oh your heart, like the black between the stars, Offers more than I could ever see. And in the night, when my mind is in flight, You’re all over my dreams. I wish that I could stay asleep. I just can’t help but love you more.

What I See 04:39
I, I wanna say, “I love you all.” Because I do. Oh my, my heart it rings before you call. Does yours too? Does it reach out from your chest, and long for me? Can you look me in the eye? I’m beggin’, please. I will never feel guilty for the things that other people may have done. The changes everyday are getting faster as we sail towards the sun. Don’t you see… what I see? I am you, and you are me. Yeah! I, I know each day will turn to night, and that’s just fine. Oh my, my dreams are filling up with light, but they’re still mine. When I cannot understand the way you feel, or that look upon your face, I remember this is real and there is no better time or other place to be. Don’t you see… what I see? I am you, and you are me. Yeah! I, I wanna help you on your way. Is that okay? Oh my, oh my Ohio is so far. So far away. Are you listening to me? What did you say? Can you please repeat the words, and I’ll stay? I will never let you down baby, never give you up I’m right here. And no one to leave unless you want and we can all just disappear. Don’t you see… what I see? I am you, and you are me. Oh, Don’t you see… what I see? I am you, and you are me. Yeah!

My Oh My 04:45
I’m walking on eggshells every time I’m out the door. My oh my. I hear the chapel bells and I wonder where is the lord? My oh my. Fools out at midnight howling in the moonlight. What do they do when they’re sick in the sunshine? My oh my. I met you on Tuesday and kissed you on Thursday. My oh my I woke with you on Friday, but lost you by Monday. My oh my It’s fools who rush it but I just couldn’t hush it, The feeling I get when I love what’s behind eyes. My oh my I didn’t want to be alive back in the 2005. My oh my. I thought I was in heaven in 2007. My oh my. I nearly lost mind back in 2009, And in 2012 I could tell this life of mine, Would only test me more and more with time. My oh my So clean up the storm drain and rebuild the flood gate. My oh my Midnight is comin’ and only the few will be saved. My oh my At 12:01 will you be with god or with gun? At 12:02 will there be any faith left to hold on to? Will there be a better home awaiting in the sky, lord? By and by Over the mountains and under the deepest wells. My oh my From a supernova to the splitting of a cell. My oh my Climbing or falling swimming or soaring, All things have a place while they’re alive, And me I’m just another cog inside, The single smallest point in space and time. My oh my

I Don't Know 03:02
Behold the world but never understand it. Take it all and never let it go. Ignorance is bliss, and you don’t want to miss, The shadows as they dance upon the floor. Shut your mouth and eyes and ears and nose, Put away your toys and burn your clothes. Take a look inside and tell me what you see, You just might see that you are just like me. And all I know is that I know, that I don’t know that much, But I think I’ve been here before. When you know, that you don’t know, just when you’ve had enough, You just might come back for more. Take your time, there’s no right way to go now. Carry on just like you used to do. Don’t look back and don’t look forward, let your inner eye look inward, Then the only thing you’ll see is you. Sit right down and have yourself a moment. No better time than now or place than here. Open up your mind, and fill it with your soul, Then the shadows all just disappear. And all I know is that I know, that I don’t know that much, But I think I’ve been here before. And when you know, that you don’t know, just when you’ve had enough, You just might come back for more. And all I know is that I know, that I don’t know that much, But I think I’ve been here before. ‘Cause when you know, that you don’t know, just when you’ve had enough, You just might come back for more. Yeah, You just might come back for more. You just might come back for more.

Lullaby 04:23
The sky is blue above, ‘cause he has lost his lover - our dearest mother earth. The stars have given birth to everything that lives and dies in this whole universe. When water turns to air, it shows that father cares enough to share with us the sea. From you, to shining me, floating up and raining down wherever it may be. When you’re alone, all on your own, There’s a million loving voices calling you home. And no one knows what we will know, ‘til we remember who we are and how to grow The ground beneath our feet, it moves and turns and feeds itself and every family. Each rock, and plant, and tree, in perfect harmony with all the beings of the land, The sea the sky the sand. The players in the band of life that orchestrates this song So you can sing along. And nobody will judge you ‘cause we love you on and on. When you’re alone, all on your own, There’s a million loving voices calling you home. And no one knows what we will know, ‘til we remember who we are and how to grow There’s nothing to believe, but everything you see, you want, you need, reality. Escape into a dream, where everyone you know is living happy as can be. And no one has to leave, the songs don’t ever end…

Fire On 03:45
You steer my wheel and turn my lock and key. You herd my flock and wet my drying tree. I hear a siren song when you whisper to me. You just might be too much, I can’t wait to see. You light my wick each time that we meet lips. You’re the water on my oar, the mast on my ship. I feel just what you want, my hand on your hip. Oh you just might be too much, but I keep my grip. Fire on, turn that fire on. Been without you all day long, Fire on. You make the blood in my veins quicken its speed. My chest is getting tight, I can hardly breathe. Oh, my heart is in your hands for you it beats. Well you just might be too much, I can’t wait to see. Fire on, turn that fire on. Been without you all day long, Fire on. You’re the reigning queen, and I am a pawn Now knock me down my dear And turn me on Fire on, Fire on. Lets burn it all night long, Now turn that fire on.

Hard Work 03:57
In the morning, when I wake up, I lay in bed with my guitar. I write a new song, and play some old ones. I grab my gear, and load up the car. ‘Cause there’s a show tonight, and the band’s all ready, to drive four hours, and play for two. Five thousand dollars, worth of equipment, one hundred miles, to get fifty bucks from you. And you know It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, getting paid doing the things you love. It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, that I’m dreamin’ of. Butterflies, all in my belly. My palms are wet, my knees are weak. ‘Til I get up there, with my guitar, I know this feeling is what I seek. And I know It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, getting paid doing the things you love. It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, that I’m dreamin’ of. I’m working Monday through Friday, doing the nine to five, Keeping up my day job, trying to survive. Until I hit the big time, vacations in the sand, I’m working on the weekend, playing covers with my band It’s not easy, but its fun. And it sure is pleasing, to please some one. What I love most is, being closest to the sound that we’ve become. And we know It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, getting paid doing the things you love. It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, that I’m dreamin’ of. Yeah! Oh, It’s hard work, playing music. It’s hard work, getting paid doing the things you love. It’s hard work, playing music. And It’s hard work, that I’m dreamin’ of. Yeah, It’s hard work, that I’m dreamin’ of.
