She told me "don’t hold it in," in a dream I had one mornin’.
She was dressed in white and glowin’, an angel in the snow.
I felt my heart lowerin’, sinking like a stone.
She whispered, “don’t go to low, I am one to know.”
Then like an anchor in the harbor, or a raindrop from a cloud,
My tears fell harder, as she said aloud,
"Let it out to open room within.
Better now than later, when its too late."
I walked with her in silence, she uttered not a word.
What wonderful guidance, nothing to be heard.
She rowed off in a white canoe, then turned around to wave.
The message in her gesture, said "honey don’t behave."
Like an anchor in the harbor, or a raindrop from a cloud,
If your tears fall harder, just remember how,
To let it out to open room within.
Better now than later, when it’s too late.
